Landscapes: where are we?

I’m inspired by non-places, transitional spaces and meeting points. The collision of nature and the built environment, the decay of material and reintegration back into the earth. Where do we sit beside ‘things’, how do we define ourselves in relation to them? The photos I take record locations that provoke these sort of questions. By documenting old industry, abandoned clubs, rural landscapes, discarded waste, new questions are asked about the relationships we hold with the world around us.
